With so much happening in Johannesburg , I could not say no to the POLO luncheon, only because it supported a cause close to my heart: Cancer. The Pink Polo Luncheon was hosted last week at the VIP hospitality suite in Kyalami. Polo hosted South Africa’s fashion media and socialites at the Pink Polo luncheon to raise awareness for CANSA through the Pink Pony Campaign.
.
POLO Brand Ambassador, Leanne Manas hosted the event and Cancer survivor Samantha Brown gave a touching speech on “Surviving the Corporate World with Cancer” which provided an insight into her run-ins with HR and insensitive male colleagues. Listening to her story made me feel so thankful for my health.
Guests were also treated to a fashion show with the latest Spring/Summer collection and POLO’s limited edition range of Pink Pony merchandise was sold in aid of CANSA. Their range of clothing included evening / formal wear which I quite fancied.
Imagine my excitement when I got to socialise with some socialites at the luncheon. There were some beautiful people at this event and meeting Jen Su was a highlight for me. She is such a lovely, friendly lady.
Hats off to POLO for their support of CANSA. After seeing the new range of clothing, I’m now a huge fan of POLO clothing.
