I had the privilege of spending  a relaxing and beautiful weekend at the  picturesque Misty Hills Country Hotel venue over a weekend in February this year and ever since then I have been longing to visit this stunning venue again.

Set in the heart of Gauteng , The Cradle of Humankind is home to the 4-star rated Misty Hills Country Hotel, Conference Centre and Spa.  Nestled in the foothills of the Swartkop Mountains in Muldersdrift, Misty Hills is one of the most beautiful places I have visited in Gauteng.

Set in lush botanical gardens, this charming stone-built complex embodies the ethos of Africa.

 

The rooms are furnished to complement the indigenous surroundings and lavishly decorated with  African fabrics and artworks. The outdoor shower was off course my favourite feature in the rooms.

Handmade furniture and unique sculptures can be found throughout the property.

Misty Hills Country hotel is an ideal getaway just a short drive from the city,  to relax and unwind.  With everything from good food, to pleasant staff and an amazing setting.
